From Auditor to Advocate
I began my ISO 9001 experience on the auditor side, first as an internal auditor within the organization that I worked for, then working for a major certification body conducting ISO 9001 certification audits. I saw firsthand why and how organizations failed — not because they lacked quality, but because their QMS did not reflect how they actually operated and it was not customized to fit their specific business and operational requirements.
After 175+ audits, I made the switch to consulting. My goal was simple: use everything I learned as a business manager and ISO 9001 auditor to help organizations implement ISO 9001 standards in their QMS that are proven to improve quality, reduce errors and costs and increase productivity — and that will pass an ISO 9001 certification audit.
